This is a non-explicit environment

CompanionsArena itself never displays explicit or sexually graphic content, regardless of what a reviewed platform can produce. We may:

• describe adult capabilities in plain, clinical language (e.g. "supports NSFW roleplay")
• publish a written conclusion about explicit-generation quality
• quote non-explicit excerpts from test transcripts as evidence for a score

We do not publish explicit images, video, or unredacted explicit chat excerpts, no matter what a platform is capable of producing.

Why, stated plainly

Several US states now trigger age-verification obligations once a "substantial portion" of a site's content is sexually explicit — commonly around one-third. A clean comparison site sits well below that threshold; adding an explicit-evidence area would push toward it for marginal decision value, invite EU age-assurance duties, and complicate payment processing. This isn't a temporary limitation — it's a deliberate, permanent design choice, made once and not revisited opportunistically.

What this means for scoring

A platform's explicit-content quality or restrictions can still be assessed and scored (see methodology) — we just don't show you the evidence directly. Where a claim depends on evidence we can't publish, we say so rather than asserting it without support.
